El ganador del concurso del microsite Artsists’ Acrylic fue juzgado por Marion Boddy-Evans, artista, escritor y guía de pintura en About.com. Así es como Marion ha seleccionado el video ganador de Tymon Ferenc de Laat.

'El video ganador fue elegido por transmitir con fuerza la sensación de alegría y gozo que se puede sentir al pintar. junto con la muestra del proceso de creación de una pintura que combina el control y la fluidez. El video muestra cómo la pintura no tiene que ver únicamente con el producto final, sino que también es importante la interacción del artista con sus materiales. El video también está estructurado y varía los ángulos de la cámara y el ritmo, dando una sensación de energía del artista, mientras cuenta una historia.'
Acerca de Marion Boddy-Evans
Marion Boddy-Evans es un artista y escritor que vive en la Isla de Skye, en Escocia, un paisaje que ha inspirado a más de un pintor. Ella ha estado escribiendo sobre la pintura para About.com (Grupo New York Times) durante los últimos 10 años, compartiendo sus conocimientos, experiencias y animando a otros durante sus propios viajes artísticos. El trabajo de Marion se puede ver en la Galería Skyeworks en Portree (donde también imparte talleres de arte) y la galería Inchmore cerca de Inverness, así como en su web del estudio. Los acrílicos son el medio favorito de Marion, por su versatilidad y su secado rápido.

I use super gel with colors mixed in to thicken and stretch the paint. It holds the shapes much better. I use cake frosting tools, pallet knives, bags of paint like frosting bags and other cool gadgets.
